What do you guys think about this score though? Agree/Disagree or 2K MT do not care? Dying to hear what you think with this for sure. Review bombs from people who do not own the game along with the loud majority who have the game and whine 24/7. It's exactly the same with Madden if you think about it. Like there's no way those games are as bad as these scores but people will use those to back up their arguments. Problem is that game has a history of accepting its own community for granted and I'm not going to say 2K has (yet) but it felt just like (to me) they were putting in new things rather than thinking about the"Joe Public" that wishes to sit down and play with League and chill outside.
It is the same with Madden in case you think about it. Like there's absolutely no way these games are as poor as these scores but individuals will use those #'s to back up their arguments. Problem is that that game has had a history of taking its community for granted and I'm not likely to state that 2K has (yet) but it felt like (to me) they were putting in new things and not thinking about the"Joe Public" that wants to just sit down and play with League and chill out. I have not played with it much simply because I KNOW spots are coming but I'd say...a 3 right now and I feel a part of that is because within the first week that the shot meter became a big source of controversy (and still is) and it was supposed to be addressed by making it larger but they did not so I sort of just shrug and move.
I mean if you recall there was the game"Astral Chain" for the change that has been getting 0 scores since it was a Switch exclusive. I am not going to say this game is crap but from YTers I have seen there are some which have been vocal about matters which should have been fixed (shot meter being made bigger for one) but that I could know what they were going for. It might induce more people to go back and play'20 that aren't into this whole shot aiming thing but that's just speculation on my part.NBA2K21 - This is a game about Luck, not ability.
Shooting in NBA2K20 was considerably easier than in 2K21 we all know that but I want to talk about why 2K's game this year is not fun and it goes farther past the shooting mechanics of this game.
The routine NBA games are fine for the most part but there are still some misuse of mechanisms such as baseline drive animations which are seemingly unguardable together with the typical NBA player. The competition system is far better for everyone, particularly guards although (even without intimidator) on the inside and it needs players to place screens and induce mismatches that's good as it's imitating a real well thought out baseball play. No issues here. No I dont want to Cheap NBA 2K21 MT be stepping back with a 2 way slashing playmaker, but I would like to get a chance of being rewarded for preparing a teammate using a 75 3pt. 75 out of a 100 is 3/4s, meaning if a teammate is wide open with a 75 3pt shot at the perimeter, the shot ought to be able to green 7/10 times. Rewarding poor defense by leaving somebody wide open since they dont have a 90+ point shot needs to be repaired, since this encourages paint sitting that also hinders slashers from enjoying nicely too.
